I started work with Farsight in July 2011 after a short spell in I.T recruitment; I soon realised that construction recruitment matched my personality perfectly. The team were very welcoming and within days I felt I was part of the Farsight family.
To me the change from my previous roles in sales, to recruitment, has been a rewarding one. I really enjoy building lasting relationships with clients and candidates. Now I go home feeling like I have helped someone and made a difference. To me it is as important to find the right candidate for my client as it is to find the right client for my candidate.

Helen Hampshire – Administrator
Having only started my first job here at Farsight in April 2011, I have learnt a lot through my colleagues and the people we deal with. I was anxious when I started but there is a brilliant atmosphere, everyone is very friendly and does everything in their power to help with any issues that there might be.
My father has been a bricklayer his whole life and my brother is now an electrician so I have been brought up around the trades, which I feel has given me a good head start in learning my way around them. My role at Farsight is varied and can be difficult at times but with the support of the team I can help to fill jobs and find suitable candidates for our clients.

Paula Blake – Payroll & Credit controller
My role here is a varied one and I enjoy it immensely. There is a fantastic team spirit at Farsight which makes coming to work a pleasure. My duties include processing timesheets, paying candidates, and invoicing clients. I do my utmost to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
I aim to sort any queries or problems as soon as they arise, ensuring that everyone concerned is kept fully informed. What matters most to me is making sure all our guys are paid on time and I am happy I can go home at the end of each day knowing that I have done my very best to make that happen |

Kirk Martin – Candidate Resourcer
I started working for Farsight in Feb 2012 and have been made to feel very welcome since. Even though everyone is very busy and focused on getting things done properly, there is still a very friendly atmosphere and I found it easy to settle in straight away. Having spent five years working as a general builder on various building sites I have a good understanding of the construction industry and appreciate the dynamics of the building trade.
I’ve grown up around tradesmen my entire life. My father is a trained carpenter and builder, and my uncles are joiners, electricians and ground workers.
I know firsthand that finding the right person for the right job is of utmost importance and the thing I like the most about Farsight’s approach to this is that they are honest, straight and reliable from the get go, with clients and candidates alike. I’m glad to be a part of this team.
