It’s that time of year again, August… the end of our financial year which means time to celebrate and reflect as a team. We all got to together for our final quarterly meeting for the period 2017-18, we discussed targets and what we did to achieve those, we also discussed targets for the year ahead and how we plan on having a successful year and work with our colleagues to help them have successful years to.
As well as celebrating company achievements we got to share in some personal successes as people won awards for their hard work over the previous 3 months.
Rules of the game – Becky was drawn from the hat at random as one of the people who’d been nominated for consistently following our office rules. Having multiple nominations under her belt, she was a worthy winner of a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy over the weekend.
Sales – Again, picked from a hat, our sales incentive for the quarter had numerous entrants. Jack was chosen at random to be our winner and received some high street vouchers to treat himself.
Above and beyond – This is picked from a hat from a selection of people that have been nominated by their colleagues for going above and beyond their usual job role. This might be giving someone a lift to work or staying late to help them send some paper work. Heather was the lucky winner of this prize, she can’t wait for a glass of her prize!
Sales person of the quarter – The first of our two management chosen awards, the sales person of the quarter is the sales person that has stood out the most for a number of reasons, hard work, hitting target, helping others, progression in their role and consistent improvement. It seems fitting that the winner of the sales incentive was also this quarters stand out sales person. Well done Jack!
Stand out employee – Again, picked by the management team this is the individual member of the team that has worked hard throughout the quarter, always goes above what’s expected of them and improves day in day out. Chloe was selected for this quarter and gets to enjoy a bottle of bubbly and some high street vouchers. Good work Chloe.
During this end of year meeting we also got to choose a new nominated charity for the year to come. We have three nominations for this sought-after spot, the chosen charity receives our support and fundraising efforts all year. There was a nomination for Just-Ice, ice-cream fighting for freedom. The Derby Fire Station. And the winning nomination, submitted by Abby, was for The Harley Jae Trust. A local charity supporting the QMC PCCU and children with life altering conditions.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for our fundraising efforts throughout the year or contact us to get involved.
