Scotland is due to get its first artificial surf park, with plans to convert a former quarry being approved.
Craigpark Quarry in Edinburgh will soon see works to develop a lake with new wave technology, a project worth £10m.
Wavegarden Scotland is due to include a surf school, self-catering luxury guest lodges, a waterfront café and restaurant as well as retail spaces and a snow-sports training jump.
This is set to be among the best surfing facilities in the world with multiple teams working on the build including HarrisonStevens, WSP and Colliers International.
