Friday the 9th of February saw the end of our second quarter for financial year 17/18. The team got together to celebrate the successes of previous months and discuss targets for the following quarter. If you have read our blog in the past you'll know that we like to reward the team for their hard work regularly throughout the year and this meeting was no different.
Every quarter staff members are given the chance to get their name in the hat for a number of different challenges, we then draw a name out for each prize. The catagories are as follows:
- Rules of the game (in each weekly meeting everyone nominates a team member as the person you most embodies that weeks rule)
- Above and beyond (staff can nominate anyone in the office throughout the month for going above and beyond their usual role, at the end of the month a winner is chosen based on who's above and beyond stood out the most)
- Sales (the sales incentive changes every quarter, this quarter it was for successfully gaining a new client)
The lucky winners received a bottle of wine and high street vouchers. For 'Rules of the Game' Matt Bennett, Resourcer was selected, and doubling up on prizes Becky Smith, Senior Recruitment Consultant won both the 'Sales' and 'Above and Beyond' prizes.
Usually there are also two prizes, selected by the management team, for the 'Stand Out Employee' of the quarter and the 'Best Sales Person' of the quarter. However, for quarter two it was decided that everyone had worked together as a team and really supported each other through some busy months, so rather than selecting two winners to be rewarded they decided to take the entire team for a meal out.
