The Farsight team is busy planning fundraising activities for the next three months - to secure a whopping £5000 to decorate Derby charity Padley Group's hostel for vulnerable people.
As the company's adopted charity for 2015/16, Padley Group was asked how we could best help them to carry on delivering their much needed day to day services. CEO Pat Zadora said that what they REALLY need is to brighten up the Hostel for service users, but this had been something they struggled to fund alongside day to day operational funding.
"As construction is our business, we decided this is an area we could help with.” Said Tom Dean, CEO at Farsight. “With closely with sub-contractors across all trades, including some of the best painter/decorators in the country."
Main contractors, Bailey Construction, put itself forward to help Farsight with the challenge, and generously agreed to carry out the work at cost price.
"Bailey Consruction has been brilliant. The company is a long-term client of ours and the team are personal friends, so for them to be supporting us with the Paintathon means such a lot." continuedTom. "We are taking on a big challenge to raise £5000; anything more would have probably put the project out of reach."
Farsight’s committed team of staff is looking to raise the total costs through a range of activities in and out of its busy Derby office. Activities will be promoted through its Facebook page and on here on the website.
Any donations to this worthy cause would be GREATLY appreciated; you can do so on Farsight Recruitment’s Just Giving Page here.
