Farsight Recruitment is putting up staff for auction in a bid to raise money for its adopted charity, Padley Group, to have a make-over for its homeless hostel in the centre of Derby.
Local construction company, Bailey Construction, has generously offered to carry out the work at a cost price to help make it achievable, but its still a mighty challenge for the 19-strong team of Farsight staff.
The ‘Party With a Purpose’ event was designed by staff, and it is hoped will raise at least half of the required budget.
“The team has taken this challenge very seriously, and are considering many ways to raise the £5000 needed for Padley to decorate its hostel bedrooms and living rooms.” Said Tom Dean, CEO at Farsight.
As well as auctioning themselves off to local construction companies, members of the Farsight team will be holding a sponsored leg-wax, raffle and providing a dj, live band and buffet.
If anyone would like to come along to the Party with a Purpose, tickets are required in advance at £10 each, and can be purchased by contacting organiser, Abby Charleton.
