Credit scheme to help builders buy materials.
So far 200 small builders have been helped by a credit scheme which allows them to buy materials...
Launched 2 months ago, the pilot scheme is for trade users of builders merchants owned by the Kingfisher group. There are negotiations underway with more builders merchants, nationally and regionally, to extend the scheme. If the scheme is successful it means that businesses who would have previously been turned away due to a lack of credit history will now receive help with buying materials.
Michael Fallon, the Business and Enterprise Minister, said “Conditions in the construction industry remain challenging but taking an innovative view of how government support schemes are deployed can make a real difference to the sole traders and smallest firms.”
Here at Farsight we may not be able to help you buy materials, but our labourers would be happy to unload them once they’re on site, and our tradesmen can use the materials to get your project underway.
We fully reference and CSCS check all our temps to make sure you’re getting the right people on your project. In the unlikely case that you’re not completely satisfied with one of our guys just let us know within the first 4 hours and we promise we will replace them and you will not be charged for the hours worked.
